We never sell, rent, monetize, or share student or institutional data with advertising networks, third-party marketing companies, or unauthorized external entities. Every piece of data entered into Taleemi Portal is processed solely to operate your school administration.

2. Information We Process on Behalf of Schools

When an educational institution uses Taleemi Portal, we process the following categories of data as instructed by the school administrator:

• Institution Profile: School name, branch addresses, official contact emails, phone numbers, institute logos, and academic session settings.
• Student & Parent Records: Student full name, roll number, class/section, father/guardian name, CNIC (if provided), emergency contact numbers, postal address, and sibling groupings.
• Fee & Financial Information: Tuition fee structures, monthly challans, discount authorizations, payment collection receipts, bank transaction IDs, and defaulter tracking balances.
• Academic & Examination Records: Test schedules, subject marks, term exam grades, report cards, and promotion history.
• Hazri & Biometric Logs: Machine clock-in/out timestamps, thumb biometric or facial scanner identification logs, and leave applications.
• Staff & Payroll Records: Teacher biographical profiles, designations, assigned periods, attendance ratios, and salary slip calculations.

3. Exclusive School Ownership of Data

Your school owns 100% of all entered data. Taleemi Portal acts purely as a secure data processor and technology infrastructure provider.

• The school principal or authorized director retains full administrative authority to create, edit, download, or delete school records.
• School administrators can export student lists, fee ledger reports, and examination registers into Excel and PDF formats at any time without restriction.
• If a school discontinues its subscription, a complete data backup is made available, and the school may request permanent cryptographic erasure of its database records.

4. Data Security, Encryption & Backups

We deploy robust enterprise-grade safeguards to protect institutional records:

• SSL/TLS Transport Encryption: All data transmitted between user web browsers, mobile applications, and Taleemi Portal servers is encrypted using modern 256-bit SSL protocols.
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Strict permission barriers ensure that teachers only see their own classes, accountants only see fee registers, and parents only access their own children's records.
• Daily Automated Redundant Backups: Database snapshots are captured on automated daily schedules with off-site redundancy to protect against accidental loss or hardware failure.

5. Parent Mobile App & SMS Broadcasts

The Taleemi Parent Application and SMS/WhatsApp broadcast modules exist to provide immediate transparency to guardians. Contact numbers are utilized solely for school-related notices, such as:

• Automated daily absence notifications when a student is not present in morning roll call.
• Fee challan generation alerts, due date reminders, and payment confirmation receipts.
• Exam date sheets, results announcements, homework diaries, and emergency school closure notices.

Parents receive notices exclusively originating from their enrolled school. No unsolicited commercial messages are ever dispatched.
